Any features in Word 2016 for handling a large number of open files (say around 40)?
So many ways to make this easier...are any of them available? 1. Ability to rearrange the list of open files to reduce scrolling. 2. A way to get to the most recently accessed files to minimize scrolling. 3. Use multiple columns to display list of open files so that the entire list would be visible without any scrolling. 4. A way to divide the list of open files into categories so it would only take 2 clicks to get to any open file. |

Nope as to all. The Recent files list helps to some extent. It does show the last-opened first.
Those would likely be Windows features. Why do you need 40 files open at once? There may be features that can help with that. |
