Hello,

if you want to get cleaner html, try to save your word document in html format.

But the problem with Word is that it is a bad html coder and it adds a lot of balast into your code. That is why I never recommend anyone to use it to create or write html.

I would suggest you to use hand coding or if you must, use at least Microsoft Front Page. The interface is the same as in word, but it is a program designed to create html pages.
