Running word 2007.
What I need is something like

1. My Lists
1.1 Sub
This is my list:

1. John
2. Jack
3. Mike

1.2 Second sub
This is another list:

1. Marie
2. Sophia
3. Julia

Imagine, I have a 150 page document with all kinds of lists like this. Every time, it starts to number:

4. Marie
5. Sophia
6. Julia

etc. until page 150:

3762. Paul
3763. William

I can manually set the list to 1 (did it twice, took me a day or so), but somehow it falls back and disregards the restart.

How should I take care of this?? In fact, I should tell the names-list-style that it has to restart after a 'Heading 2'.

Please help me, I'm about to get crazy on this.

I'm sorry but I don't understand.
Is the list going OK until page 150?

Is the highest level linked to Heading 1?
Is the second higest level linked to Heading 2?
Are the remaining lists just simple lists?

Is the doc something you can post or is it secret?

I found the solution last night.
The numbered list will be 'Heading 4' , this solved my problem.
