Making paragraph text skip over a landscape page
Hello
I am writing thesis document. All the pages are portrait. Now I have inserted a landscape page in order to make it fit to a table that was very wide. I did that with section breaks. Now the problem is, before that landscape page, I have text in a paragraph that does not end right before this landscape page. I want this paragraph to continue after this specific landscape page, so to say skip this page and continue after the landscape page. Now I don't know how to do this, I have tried adding a page break before section break but obviously that is not the solution. If I don't do that than pretty much white space is left at the end of the page preceding this landscape one, which looks bad. I would be thankful for any help. Thanks |

It is not possible to have text flow from one side of a Section break to another - and you're trying to get it to do so with two Section breaks. You might try rotating the table and apply text wrapping to it instead of using Section breaks.

For a Thesis you might find it preferable to group tables and figures at the end of a chapter rather than placing them inline. This was how it was done in the days before wordprocessors. But please check beforehand if your local thesis formatting rules allow this.
