Hi
I regularly receive large Word documents which also have other documents (Word, Excel PP etc) embedded within, which display as the appropriate doc icon. I need to be able to not only open all these docs, but also be able to refer to them in my reports in context, therefore I need to be able to search the document for these attachments / embedded documents. Is there any way I can do this from within word? Thanks GreenBoy PS - I already know how to extract all attachments by changing the doc to a zip extension and then extract them. PPS - I use Word 2016 but receive docs in all word formats from 2007 onward. |

You can Find them by pressing Alt-F9 to expose the document's field code, then using:
Find = ^d EMBED
