Default Ticking Checkboxes

Hi All,

I have been sent a word document which I have opened in Word 2003, there are some checkboxes in the document which on another machine would allow me to "tick" these boxes when clicked, however on my PC they don't allow me to do this, it just highlights the box. How can I "tick" these checkboxes? There must be a setting/option which I am just overlooking so any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Shaun

Hello Shaun,

in what version of MS Office was the original document created?

The thing might be that while creating a tick box you have used "Control Toolbox" menu to create it instead of Forms.

Can you upload the file so we can have a look?
