Tabs set along left edge of page; how to delete
I copied a list off the web and when I paste it onto a Word Doc (Mac 2016 version) there are tabs set along the left side of the page. These tabs are leaving space between the list of items which I want to get rid of.
I remember finding the steps to delete them but I can't find it now. Thanks, Ginny |

"Adjust table row" is the message when I click on one of the tabs. The adjusting that I can do is to move the tab up and down increasing the space between the lines, not what I want.
What I want is to get rid of the tabs so I don't have extra space between the list of items. |

Have you tried pasting as "Text only" instead of importing the table structure?

When I click on "paste special" I'm given several options, none of which got rid of the tabs. Actually the text was coming out sideways so I think it's time for me to give up on this for tonight.
Thanks for your help! |
