Hello everyone, could anyone give me some help, please?

It is about MS Word 2007, Windows 7, 64 bits, anti virus updated...

Well, I am writing a text, I insert a name, the MS Word does not recognize it and underlines it with the red line.

Okay, I select the word, and add it to the dictionary.

The next time I write the same name, the same thing happens again. That is, the name is underlined.



I open the dictionary and check it if the name is there. Yes it is!

While I'm in options, I delete the word and add the name again.

I try it out to see if worked, nothing.

I reboot the MS Word, nothing. I restart PC, nothing.

The word is there in the dictionary (main dictionary), but it does not appear in spelling checker suggestions.

Therefore, the word in text is always underlined.

Does anyone know what's going on?

You can only add words to the default custom dictionary. Ensure that dictionary is configured for all languages - or at least for the language you are typing in.

Yeah, I know that. I've added in that dictionary, the word is there but it doesn't appear in the spelling checker.
I've already configured the dictionary for all languages and mine too.
But the issue continues.

If you add a word to the dictionary using anything other than lower-case, lower-case spellings will be marked as spelling errors. That's because words that are capitalized or use title case when added to the dictionary are assumed to require that for correct spelling.

No, what I said is that if you input "John" or "JOHN", "john" will be regarded as an error. If you input "JOHN", "John" will also be regarded as an error. If you input "john", neither "JOHN" nor "John" will be regarded as an error.

And about your explanation, I inputted "john" and tried out "John" and "JOHN", guess what?
Regarded as error, all of them!!! Kkkk...
I'm sending attached two pics: one are the words underlined, and the other pic is the dictionary.
Please note that both words "aleine" and "Aleine" are regarded as error, although they are added in dictionary.
Did you get it? Cause I don't!
I know that must exist an explanation about this, but it's difficult to find out!

Well, in the specific case of John, since that's a proper name that I'd is already in your installation's built-in dictionary, it's perhaps not surprising that Word gets confused when you also add 'john' to the custom dictionary; you should experiment with word's Word doesn't know about.

Returned the same error...

If Aleine is a proper name, you should not also add aleine to the dictionary. Did you run a spell-check after adding the word(s)?
