Hi there, I'm new to the forum and am a complete novice. I've been able to create a form, thanks to the posts here, that utilizes a content control drop down menu that XML maps to another portion of the word document, auto populating a series of paragraphs based on the choice made in the drop down menu. I have issues that I've encountered, however, and was wondering if someone can help.
The drop down menu has about 70-80 options I've entered to choose from, and I will need eight of the very same drop down menu optionschoose from, yielding eight different options that I can XML map/populate into the paragraph(s) below the page. It's tedious to copy and paste/enter 70-80 of these options again and again to map. In fact, I have the lengthy content control drop down menu in another document. Is there a way to copy and paste content control options, or import them somehow and then XML map? I've tried to highlight and control C in the content control properties menu, but it does not work, and I can't find any way around the XML mapping menu. Thanks so much in advance!
