inconsistent margins
Hello,
I'm trying to set the margin between the body of my pages and the footer to 1cm: But I'm getting inconsistent results: Does anyone know what's going on here? Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 02-14-2018 at 09:02 PM. Reason: Mark as solved |

Without seeing the document in question, it's impossible to know for sure what the issue is. The footer margin certainly appears consistent across all 3 pages. Conversely, your 3rd page looks like the last paragraph might only be 4 lines long and you have widow/orphan control in effect.

See Improving the Bottom Line for ideas on what you can do.
This likely has nothing to do with the margins. Looking at your screenshots, I note that you have different even and odd headers/footers and that the font size of the "Chapter Nine" in your even-numbered pages is larger. |

Thanks for your responses everyone.
And thanks to macropod for linking to the proper cross-posting etiquette and the cross-post itself. If you follow that link, you'll find the solution to this problem. |
