I have a template that we use for company CVs. It was a pic, various text boxes etc. There is a continuation page as well. We have basic text in the first page for people to edit. If someone deletes the continuation page it seems to lock the document so it can't be edited.

Post a sample file here and I or someone else will take a look at it. Preferably the one that is not locked up. There are a number of ways to lock a document. Many of them allow for other parts to not be locked. Deleting a marker can make a difference.
