hello, how do I create a default date in a form - like TODAY in excell?

how do I create direct connection between Word (the date field in a form) and an Excell file (in which the date is calculated for example).

You can insert the current date and have it update like TODAY() in Excel by going to the Insert tab and clicking 'Date and Time', choosing a format and checking the box Update Automatically. Not sure that is what you want, but if you want like Excel's TODAY(), that is it.

You said on a form though, so maybe you want the Date Picker Content Control on the Developer tab.
