Cant fill in form once Restrict Formatting and Editing is enforced.

Hi, I created a form out of a document I created before discovering what 'Developer' can do. I changed my '___________' to a form field, it works when file is unprotected but once I 'Start Enforcing Protection' it won't allow me to fill in the form fields? Not sure what I'm doing wrong..

Did you protect the document for filling in forms?

I don't think I have, where do I check that? And should it be protected or not for it to work?

It is one of the types of protection available. Click on Restrict Editing on the Developer Tab. Click the box to allow only certain types of editing and choose Filling In Forms. Then click the button to start protection.

Yes that is selected and still when I start protection it won't let me fill in the fields...

The problem is that you have used text boxes - essentially graphics - to hold the fields. You should use instead a table or frames which are part of the text area. Tables are probably the simplest approach - see attached.
