Mysterious icons in Modify Style dialog box
I do not know the use/meaning of the icons in the Modify Style dialog box that are shown below. No short explanation appears when I hover on them with my mouse.
What do they mean ? Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 01-09-2018 at 07:14 AM. Reason: Mark as solved |

Hi!
You can have the tooltips appear by going in the Word Option menu, on the Display tab check "Show document tooltips on hover". If not, you can type in Word a few paragraphs and try each button. You will easily discover what each means! Souriane |

In Word (from a blank page) select FILE/OPTIONS/CUSTOMIZE RIBBON and from the resulting menu, select MAIN TABS from the Customize Ribbon drop-down menu (right-hand side)...then select Home/Paragraph. The icons that you questioned are within the subsequent resulting menu.
While you are there, become familiar with the other icons as well...or, at least, know where they are so you can look later on... |
