Default Custom Page Numbering

I am attempting to create a template where the first page starts 0001 00-1. For the next page it would be 0001 00-2. I assume I have to use field codes. Is this possible?

What do you want it to look like when you get to page 10?

Do you want the first part of the number to ever change?

Page Numbers in Word 2007-2016

Page numbers are fields in headers or footers.

It eventually will. Is there a field code where I can change the value of PAGE to 0001 00-1?

When it gets to page 10 do you want
0001 00-10?

What would change the 0001 to 0002?
When that happens what do you want to happen to the page number?
  • Continue?
  • Restart?

The field is a PAGE field.

You could have 0001 00-{PAGE}.
