move 1 page of File X to File Y
Dear All, Is there a way to move page 1 of File X to File Y without need to change the alignment in Word 2007 ? I have file that I need to copy over to another file but when I copy and paste, all the alignment is out. I need to adjust one by one. What I mean is Like we do in powerpoint where I open two file and copy/drag over. Any idea or I just too ambition ? Thanks |

Not sure if this would do for you, in my ancient steam driven version of Word I would try copy from doc 1 then in doc2 "Paste Special" and choose "unformatted text" which should pick up whatever formatting is at the place in doc 2 you paste it.

When you paste text, you should see a little icon on the screen. This is the Paste Options box. If you click on it you can choose to keep the source document formatting or use the formatting of the destination document. If you don't see the icon, you might need to turn it on in Options.
