Default A computer I sent an email to can't display capitals

Hello,

Here's a tricky problem I'm facing. Let me explain it briefly to you just in case someone have a solution:

I work with Office 365, and I use especially Word for work purposes.

I've been helping a student with her thesis for more than a year now. What we can do with Word is just amazing! Or so I thought until I ran into a problem with capitals. When I send a Word file to the student, the accents on capitals won't display, and I don't know why. She works with Word 2016. On my computer, all the accents are displayed correctly, so I don't understand why they aren't on her computer.

I have tried recently to send the Word file under a PDF format, and everything works properly. I have also tried to convert the document into a 97-2003 version or other versions. It doesn't work.

If someone has a clue to solve this problem, I would be grateful.

Thank you for your help.
