Entire document accidentally turned into field code (CRTL + F9)
Dear all,
I seem to have marked all the text in my document (ctrl + A) and then pressed crtl + F9. This apparently turned my whole document into a field code. When I toggle field code I do not see the text anymore. I tried to convert it into text by ctrl + shift +F9 but this only makes my whole document disappear (except the comments). I'm pretty sure this is a trivial thing but I cant seem to reverse this mistake. I would really like to get my text back. Please help me! That would be much appreciated. Best, Martin |

Toggle the field code display 'on', then select everything between the errant field braces. Cut the selected content, delete the errant field braces, then paste the content back into the document.
