I have several styles that are definitely used in the document many times, and they show up in the style panel when I chose 'In use' from the 'Select styles to show' dropdown list, however when I right click on them they say 'Not currently used'.
I have noticed that these styles are header and footer styles and styles used in textboxes. The problem is I am trying to use macros to both list all of the used and unused styles in the document and then delete the unused ones. The macro sees these as unused. How do I get Word to recognize these styles as used? I have already tried turning on 'Keep track of formatting' as recommended in other threads, however this does nothing. |
