Hi all

I am trying to print a 24 page booklet on my Canon MG3100 printer, using Word 2010 on Windows 10 OS


Page setup - bookfold, all pages
Margins 0.2" top & bottom, 0.7" left & right
Manual double sided printing (cannot use Duplex because the included pictures print dark mauve instead of B/W)

Print preview, all looks fine, but the pages print off centre so the centre fold is in wrong place.

Am I doing something wrong, can I try other settings ? I have played around with different margins but nothing improves matters.

This may be a paper feed issue with your printer; or it may be a printer driver issue. The fact you're having trouble with colour suggests the latter might at least be part of the problem.

Don't think so as a similar document on other computer using free trial of Office prints in the right position.
As for the colour, I have researched this & apparently if automatic duplex is selected, the printer uses colour cartridges to make black images because it is less likely to smear - something to do with size of ink droplets I think.
I am quite happy to print duplex manually to keep it all b/w but I need it printed in right position on page !

Have you tried it with your document on the other computer? If so and you get the correct results there, it's a problem with either your printer or its driver (possibly a driver setting).

Yes, I have & got the same results !

Have you tried printing to the Windows PDF printer? Is the PDF correctly formatted (i.e. do the page centres align on screen)?
