Cannot shrink height of Footer or large white space above footnotes in Word 2007
I am working on a document. It has body text, footnotes on most pages, and a copyright line at the bottom. However, the footer needs to only be as high as he copyright line, not 2+ inches. Above the footnote separator line, there is a big gap between the text and the separator line. I cannot figure that one out either. It is not the case that it is followed immediately blank line or section break as far as I can tell. I looked on the web for solutions to make the footer in Word 2007 smaller but was unable to make any of the suggestions work. I would appreciate help with removing most of this excess white space at the bottom of pages. Please see attached screenshot. Thanks. |
