To match common university formatting requirements, I need to set up a multi-level list with the following differences from the standard template:
1. Level 1 headings, used for chapter titles, should not show a number. 2. Level 2 headings should start at 0 (e.g., 1.0), rather than 1 (e.g., 1.1). I have tried to do this with "Define new multilevel list", but sometimes it doesn't restart after chapter 2 and sometimes the level 2 heading goes 1.0, 2.0 instead of 1.0, 1.1. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Charles. I actually found this in another thread: sorry for not searching properly before asking!
