Incorrectly spelled words neither auto correct nor spell check off custom dic
Refers to Word 2007 and Windows 11.
I have a long [4kb] custom dictionary, which I know to be in place. When I attempt to check spelling often the right word comes up in the box, and is often an autocorrect from the custom dictionary, but it can be the default dic option as well. It has not autocorrected as I type as specified in the proof options. It is grayed out. I have click on the word in the document, spell check it, and then proceed to check the rest of the document. However, I am no longer accessing the custom dic. I have set the spell check to correct as you type, and the red underlying appears as it should, but the suggested replace is still inaccessible. I have never experienced this issue before. Thoughts? Last edited by jdkoerner; 10-14-2017 at 01:15 PM. Reason: accidently posted unfinished |
