Hello,
Is there a way in Microsoft Word to set a password to Accept Changes? My goal is so that users need to enter password in order to Accept Changes in the word document. Thank you for all your help, -Elizabeth K. |

Hello Elizabeth,
yes, there is such a way. MS Word offers a possibility to need password only to modify document. So he can view it, but without password you cannot do any changes in it. Including accepting track changes. For MS Word 2002 From the upper toolbar pick Tools - Options Pick "Security" tab. You have two password fields there. Pick the second one - Password to modify Enter password, hit OK and it is done. I hope it helps If not, contact me via my website Mike Last edited by mike.smith; 05-12-2010 at 02:55 AM.
