Word 2010 Command Bar disappears when click on document
All of a sudden, mysteriously, the ribbon that normally appears at the top of a document has disappeared. It appears when I click on Home, but as soon as I click within the document it disappears. !!! Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 09-20-2017 at 11:09 AM. Reason: Mark as solved |

Click on the little down symbol next to the question mark at the right-hand end of the Home, etc. tab line.

Or, double-click on a ribbon tab.
This gets worse with Word 2013-16. There the tabs disappear as well. |

You are welcome.
By the way, I noticed that you are using the 64-bit version of Office. For Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook there is no advantage to this and can be disadvantages. If you need it for Excel or Access, then you do. |
