![]() Hi. I'm editing a document that has a number of random spaces in the footnotes. I can't delete these for some reason. What do I need to do? I've looked at an earlier thread on this relating to 2007 word, but the solution proposed there (to do with entering draft view and adjusting through the footnote pane doesn't seem to work. Please help! This is really frustrating. |

Without seeing your document, I can only guess what the issue is. Every footnote ends with a paragraph break - just like every document ends with a paragraph break. That last paragraph break cannot be deleted; unwanted paragraph breaks before the last paragraph break can be deleted, however.
