Default Word Sharp Bevel text effect

Hello, I'm a college student (strange, since I'm 70 years old!!) I'm taking a course in Word that is administered by SAM-Cengage. They are very particular about formatting, etc.

I'm required to apply a text effect to a block of text. The name of the effect is "Sharp Bevel" text effect.

I've searched through all the bevel options and haven't been able to find this special effect. It has to be that specific text effect, or it's counted wrong. I'm sure the experts in this group can lead me in the right direction.
Thanks very much for the help.

Randy P

I do not find "Sharp Bevel" in text effects in Word 2010-2016.
Note that Bevel is a WordArt effect, not one on the Home tab.
Hard edge is an effect, but not sharp.

Hi, Thanks.. I'll try submitting Hard Edge Bevel. The SAM-Cengage grading of the submissions is very exacting. I've had a couple of issues in previous classes. I get to submit 5 times total so it's an easy to see if they accept the Hard submission.

Thanks very much for the response.

If further questions, it is important to distinguish what version(s) of Word the instruction is using. There are differences between versions, especially in terms of more peripheral features like the one you are describing.

I do hope they give sound grounding on use of Styles and other less peripheral material. I've found that many courses on Word give scant attention to them.
