How do I change the name of Bookmarks
In my Word-file there are many bookmarks and I crossreference them in formulars. For better readability the names of the bookmarks should be changed. How can I do that in a way that all crossreferences update automatically so that they will remain valid? Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 08-17-2017 at 12:26 PM. Reason: Mark as solved

You can't - you would have to change both the bookmark's name and the bookmark reference in any REF & PAGEREF fields referring to it.

Paul is correct, as usual. I was going to suggest Greg Maxey's Bookmark Tool. However, that only takes care of the renaming part.
If you know the original name of the bookmark and if the cross-references are all done in REF fields, you could display fields (Alt+F9) and use a Replace to change it. This is far from automatic.
