Default Block Changing Styles

I have a long document with many paragraphs. Currently they are all styled (coded) <normal>. I want them all to be changed in one go to <P>. Can anyone help?

The replace function in the PC version would do this. I would assume that the Mac version can manage the same.

Thank you. However, I don't know how you can find/replace a style name or code. Any suggestions?

Thanks for taking the trouble. I have looked at the link. But I still cannot make the 'find' function specifically identify a style component. Maybe it just doesn't do that.

Is there a More button? If so, click on it, then on Format > Style

Here is the dialog box in Windows after the More button has been pressed. I assume the Mac has something similar. Where the More button was, is now a Less button.

You pick the old style with the Find box active and the new one with the Replace box active.

By the way, it is unusual and probably not good practice to have all of your text formatted in one style. The only time I would do this is if I want all of the text to look the same. I usually want some of the text to stand out.
