Default Referring to a Document Panel infopath field Using an IF field

Hi,

I have made a contract template that uses InfoPath fields, filled in within the Document Panel to populate the contents of the contract.

I would like to use checkboxes to govern certain contents of the document template.

Example:
In the document panel I have a text box titled 'Recipient' and a checkbox titled 'Modifications'.
If I type 'Joe Bloggs' into the 'Recipient' text box, his name is added to the document. This works fine.
If I check the checkbox 'Modifications' I'd like text referring to modifications in the document to appear. I can't work out how to do this.

I imagine I'd use IF fields but I can't work out how to refer to the checkbox within the formula.

Does anyone have any idea how to do this?

The checkbox was added using InfoPath.
InfoPath doesn't have different types of checkbox as far as I can tell.

Word has three types of checkbox - formfield, content control and ActiveX control. None of these can be evaluated without recourse to a macro.

Thanks macropod. Given how the text boxes behave (which is as content control text boxes), I assume the checkbox is a content control one.

I'll have to find another way to make the template work as I don't want to use a macro.

Thanks,
Chrad
