page down icon on side of MS Word screen
I can't find how to; nor can admin help me find a way to, put the page down button on the side of a word doc screen; it was there in the former versions. anyone found it? |

Are you talking about the "elevator" or scroll bar?
If so, it is possible that you have the right side of your Word window off the screen. |

If the scroll bar is missing, note that, in Word 2013 and 2016, the scroll bar hides automatically.
If a quick way to move from one page to the next is what you want, you can assign keyboard shortcuts to the NextPage and PreviousPage commands, respectively. You do that in the Customize Keyboard dialog box (File | Options | Customize Ribbon | Customize).
