I need help removing a random vertical line on the right side of my document
Please see the attachment of the random vertical line which is not the cursor. I saw a similar post that said the person did something with Track Changes that caused the problem. I have never used track changes. I never even knew they existed before tonight.
Thanks! |

Without actually seeing the problem document, it can be difficult for anyone to diagnose the issue. Can you attach a document to a post with the relevant data (delete anything sensitive)? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.

The line in your screen shot could be a shape or a bar tab. As Paul suggested, you should upload an example file in Word format, if you want us to have a look.

Problem solved
I was blacking out stuff in the document to upload it in Word format and glanced at the ruler and found that it was a bar tab. Thanks everyone for your help. I really appreciate it. Have a good night!
