Default Microsoft Word, PDF Borders

Just wondering if anyone could tell me how to remove the white space around the documents when saving as a PDF?

I want to have a green background on the first page, but whenever I save there seems to be a white border around the whole page.

The white border reflects the print area of the current printer driver. In order to create a PDF without the white space you need an active printer driver that does not have such a limit. Try PrimoPDF.
