Hi,
I would like to create automatic headers that show the Heading 1 and Heading 2 titles of the actual page consecutively, but I would like Heading 2 titles NOT to show in the header on the pages that come before the first Heading 2 title... Usually I use the method of simply inserting a "StyleRef" field, but in this case (when I use StyleRef for Heading 2) it displays the first Heading 2 subchapter title on every page that comes before the page it actually first appears on... is there any way to somehow prevent the field from "activating" on the pages coming before the first subchapter (heading 2)? Thank you very much for the answers, I'm not sure if I was clear enough with my question, will try to elaborate if if you find I wasn't.. Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 06-23-2017 at 04:26 PM. Put an empty paragraph formatted as heading 2 on a page before the page that has your first chapter heading.
