I am so frustrated. I am a writer and I have been having issues with Word zooming in and out on its own. I work on a laptop but I have never had this problem before - only in the last few months or so. I use Word 2016. Is there anyone who can help me fix this so I don't tear my hair out? Thanks!

Do you mean while typing it zoom in and out or do you mean when you open a document?

Can you precise exactly what you are doing when this happen? (Typing, using the mouse, etc.)

It does it when I am typing. I have a touch pad I use because I'm on a laptop but it seems to only be when I am typing in Word. I have had this laptop for a couple of years and this only started happening recently.

Maybe you are touching the touchpad with your palm...?

Try disabling the touchpad and use a mouse instead. If that fixes the problem, you'll know that it was caused by an over-sensitive touchpad.
