Default Printing bug in MS Word

I refer to MS Word 2016 for Mac. Some months ago I discovered what seems to me a serious bug. On my computer I have A4 set as the default paper size. If I temporarily set the paper size in Word to something other than A4 (to a DL envelope, for instance, or A5) and type something, I can initially print it correctly. If, however, I save the document (or save it as a template), shut Word down, then later re-open the document and print it, the paper size has not been retained and the text is printed in the wrong position. This bug is not present in Word 2011 for Mac.

I have had a very long, very useful, courteous and helpful correspondence with Microsoft technical people about this. After much testing on their part, they conceded that it is a bug in the software. But there have been several updates since then, and the bug has not been rectified. It seems to me that if enough users of MS Word for Mac were to report this bug in addition to me, that pressure might result in action being taken by the software developers to rectify the bug.

Over to you, fellow users of MS Word for Mac.
