![]() Good day, I’m trying to have a template in which the first page has a header and a footer and the second and consequent pages only have the footer. In order to do this i must set the first page as different and create a section break at the last line. The thing is, that our documents are long and is very time consuming doing that per page. Therefore I need a macro that will make the last enter a page break in order that the next page will have only the footer. Thanks in advance. Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 05-17-2017 at 06:39 PM. This does NOT require a section break and such a break will cause problems! It certainly does not require a macro to insert such a section break.
Use the setting within the header controls for "Different First Page." For step-by-step instructions, see How can I get a different header/footer on the second page? and Setting Up Letter Templates - Ribbon versions - by Suzanne Barnhill |

why the "section break-next page" is switched to "section break-continuous"? | Jamal NUMAN | Word | 6 | 12-14-2011 03:35 PM |
