Unable to save as in Desktop or My PC
Since updating to Windows 10 Creator Word will not let me save documents in the desktop. I can save in Onedrive or My documents but if I try to browse to desktop or a folder in it Word 2016 (365) crashes, As yet I haven't attempted using other Office 365 programmes. I have tried many time always resulting in crashes. Trying My PC also crashes.

An update.
I have had to recover my OS to the previous version of W10 to solve this problem. I found Word was crashing ever time I tried to "save as" since reverting all is fine. Actions I had tried prior to reverting were:- 1. Remove all add ins. 2. Uninstall Office 365 and reinstall. neither worked. This problem is confined to my desktop running W10 Pro, My laptop running W10 Home and Office 365 was not affected by any problems upgrading to Creator. I should mention that the save as problem was present in PowerPoint and Excel also. Needles to say I have now set the creator upgrade to be deferred! |

OK. The browsing to the desktop is a Windows function. It makes sense that this fixed it.
