Default Word 10: need information typed to be in font of default selection instead of Template Font

I am a social worker and need to do lots of long narratives. I've created a template with Georgia Bold for things such as Income, Household, Citizenship Status, etc.. When I enter information in template for instance Citizenship status: LPR (Legal Permanent Resident); it enters as bold as well, instead of the default word 10 font of Georgia regular font. Would like to have this done automatically without resorting to deselecting bold for every entry in to template. Thanks for you help.

First, use styles for your formatting.
3. Using Styles to Format Text
Understanding Styles in Microsoft Word

Second, format your areas to be filled in using a different character or paragraph style.
How are you delimiting the areas to be filled in? I would hope using Content Controls.
