Default append docs

I have 7 documents, all formatted in a labels format from Avery using a Template

Problem was I could not produce a 2nd page , so i created
7 Separate documents and hoped to be able to append and keep the same format

This has not worked

I'm using office word 2013

I have already tried a number of solutions on the forums, and not resolved the issue

Insert>object>text from file
But that reformats and ilose all the label layout

Heres the sample 1 page I used from avery

I had no problem making 7 pages of those labels. See attached.

Solution: Simply select the first table (Table Tools>Layout>Select>Select Table), copy it (Ctrl-C), then press Ctrl-End, Ctrl-Enter, Ctrl V. Repeat the last 3 steps as necessary.

Of course, if this is for a mailmerge, you don't even need to do that; simply complete the mailmerge setup, then choose Finish & Merge>Edit Individual Documents.

Thanks for doing that

I was trying to also get the label images onto each one , so its more visible

I'm making up a label printing for an elderly lady who PC crashed and lost her labels
So it would be good to also have the label outline, so that when she types new addresses they do not go over the label boarder
I guess i could just put a boarder on it, in a light grey , but ideally not print that boarder

Since labels use Word tables, and you can't have text extend beyond the table border without applying negative indents, that's not much of an issue; any excess text will simply wrap to the next line. If you have too many lines in a cell, the excess simply won't appear; it will instead disappear behind the bottom border.

Thats been theissue before , she types in a long address and does ot display it all
And then she cuts and pastes and saves
Thanks for the reply
I think I may have solved it using , but using the open format, as she has open office and saves as word, if she saves as open office the borders are very clear , but do not print

So I think we can mark solved
Thanks for all the help
