![]() Hello. I'm trying to get Word's Speak function to use an English accent. I've turned the document to UK English, and the proofing language, and under Settings/Time & Language/Region & Language it's set to UK as default, but the document only ever reads in an American accent. I've also noticed under Time & Language/Speech that there is only a US option available. Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 04-27-2017 at 05:24 AM. Reason: Modify title to clarify problem |

Your proofing language settings don't affect the narration accent - you do that through the Narrator's Voice settings.
