While using MS Word 2010, until today, whenever I scrolled over text with my mouse while depressing the left mouse button, to copy or cut a section of text, the area of selected text would reverse color as would the color of the page. For instance, scrolling over black text on a white page, when using the mouse to cut or copy the text, would cause the colors to reverse. Black text would become white and a white page area would become black in the area selected to copy or paste.
That changed suddenly today to the text remaining black but being highlighted by a bluish-gray bar as if I had highlighted the area of text. How do I get back to the color scheme of the text and the page reversing colors instead of being highlighted when I copy or cut. This only happens in MS Word 2010, for example Excel text and page color still reverse in color when selected for copying or cutting. Thanks for any help you can give. |

Have you tried re-booting your system?
Have you tried repairing the Office installation (via Windows Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features > Microsoft Office (version) > Change > Repair)?
