Unhappy Modify Headings

Hey Everyone,

I'm working on a report for work and I'm trying to go all out and make it look really nice. I'm trying to figure out how to modify my headers to look like the ones in this video (at the 5m mark in this video where she has "1.1 Changes in Policy") https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttOYUBsXu40&t=300s

If anyone could tell me how to make a header look like this they would be my hero!

So what aspect of the heading format are you having difficulty with - the box/shading, numbering, something else?

I don't know how to make these types of changes to the heading. It looks like it's in a little box with a nice background color. I've look all over for a tutorial -- I don't mind reading / watching a video. I just can't seem to find anything. Hmmm, I edited my post and not I can't see the original text.

That's very simple, really.

Assuming you already have the numbered heading, go to the 'Paragraph' block on the Ribbon's Home tab, where you can choose a shading and apply borders all-around. Then, assuming you're using a Heading Style for this, right-click on the heading and choose Styles>'Updating Heading # to match selection', where # is the heading Style's level.

PS: Please don't go editing your initial post; the link in it causes it to become 'moderated', so I have to re-approve it before anyone else can see it.
