Template on server gives different results. Desperate!!
Hi! I have created a word template located on the job server. The template is created in Word 2007 (created as a locked form). When users have clicked on the template, received a new document and filled in, it looks good. However, after saving the document and then open it, for some of the users, some of the locked objects (arrows, textboxes) have moved across the page.
All users have the same version of word as the template. Would be VERY grateful if anyone had any tips about this!! |

Content reformatting is fairly common when the same document is opened on computers using different printer drivers (even if they're using the same printer). That's because Word uses data supplied by the active printer driver to optimise the page layout.
Another possibility is that the document is formatted for a different paper size than what the users' printers are configured for and some users have Word configured to 'allow A4/Letter resizing' while others do not.
