I am trying to format my footnotes according to Turabian.
In order to have a space between footnotes, I set a 12pt after text spacing. This, however, created a problem because now the last footnote also has 12pt space below the text. As a result the bottom-margin of my page is larger than 1inch (1inch + one 12pt line). Is there any way to change that? (I am working on a 160 page document, so manual editing on every page does not work). Thanks, Raffiki |

You could change them to have a 12pt before spacing.

Not a bad idea, but doesn't this just move the problem to the top? I.e. then I need to find a way to get rid of the space on the first footnote.

It is normal to have at least some space between the footnotess and the footonote separator/body text.
