Word Opens as half page

I have Office 365 Word 2016 installed on my Surface Pro. When I open any document, new or saved, the page opens as a half page. What are the steps to reset the default settings?

This is now happening with Outlook when I respond to any email, I am only able to see half the screen. It looks as though the margins are fixed as half page.
