Hi community,
I was wondering if there was a way to automatically apply a character style while using fast styling, like Bold or Italic. I know it's possible to create char styles, and then to use advanced search/find feature to apply these styles to formatted text, but I wish there was a way to automate it. See example below: I hope I made myself clear enough and thank in advance all who could help me out... ![]() |

Check out the Emphasis and Strong character styles.
Note though, that these are not toggles like Italic and Bold direct formatting. I've modified my system so that the only way to do direct Italic or Bold formatting is through the font dialog. The keyboard shortcuts and ribbon buttons both apply the character styles. |
