I'm creating a form document with restricted editing, where people can enter information into a restricted editing rich text box.
For most of the document this is specified to be one style, but we want a free text area where people can enter new sections with a subheading style and the body style. However, the Styles area is greyed out when I apply "restricted editing" to the document, even in the rich text fields. The reason for creating this is that we require a standardised template for reports but people were messing up the styles, changing the font, changing the wording of the questions etc. Is there any way to allow a limited list of styles in a restricted box, or to a certain part of the document? |

When you restrict editing, one of the options you can use is to limit users to a pre-defined set of Styles. Those Styles can be used with or without the 'No Chnages (Read Only)' protection, including in Rich Text content controls.
