Here is a picture that you can probably just scroll through and read the captions to see what I'm referring to.
More info, if needed:
Basically, the book is perfect how I want it right now, except for the alternate, previous ending I wrote that I am now trying to delete. Just pretend that the alternate ending is like Chapter 51, and I only want to have 50 chapters. When I delete Chapter 51 (or the alternate ending) it makes everything aligned in the middle of the page vertically. Again, to make this clear, I have TWO ENDINGS to my story. I want to delete the second one, the one after the "asdf" you'll see in the picture.
I think it has something to do with some kind of formatting for the beginning of the story. My "PART ONE" is vertically aligned perfectly, and everything before that is too, pretty much. I am using a template I downloaded from CreateSpace (a self-publishing company by Amazon), and basically just "filled in the blanks" of that template with my novel, but I had to erase some stuff here and add some stuff there.
Anyways, for some reason or another, I can't get rid of the "asdf" text and everything after it, finishing my novel, without it altering every odd page in the book. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
PS: If you'd like to see the entire manuscript in order to fix it, just respond with your email or shoot me a personal message with your email and I'd be happy to do so.
PPS: Also, if there is a way to hide page numbers and the footer and header from just one page without messing with the page numbers, that'd be great, because I'd really like to keep "PART TWO" clean and simple like "PART ONE" is.
