Default Saving word file

When i save a word document, it is saving the actual information as something else, . when i click on it, it brings up a office 2010 page with pictures, it brings up the same page for whatever I try to save, save a new file as page 1, it brings up the office 2010 page. it doesn't save
what I save.

I know you are frustrated, but I don't understand what you have happening.

Please give more detail on how you are saving and how you are trying to open.
For instance, if you have saved a document with the name "Page 1," what happens if, with Word open, in Word, you use File > Open to open a file named "Page 1?"
